Fiji Wedding - On the Beach at Sunset

Many weddings at JM Cousteau Fiji Islands Resort take place on a private expanse of beachfront at sunset. It is customary for two Fijian Warriors to carry the bride up the beach to her groom. The procession is accompanied by the blowing of conch shells and beating of Lali drums.

The marriage ceremony can be performed by a minister, priest or celebrant, as the couple prefers. We offer three choices for music performed during the ceremony: our string band, the Fijian Village Choir or the Church Choir.

We recently added another option for couples to have a private, romantic dinner. Our two thatched-roof Dine Out Bures are situated along the shoreline and provide an intimate, idyllic setting. Perfect for honeymoon dinners!

Private Fiji Island Escape
Ever want to be alone on your own private island, just the two of you? Now's the time. Reserve our idyllic island for the day and escape to your own secluded paradise. After our Fijian chef prepares a gourmet picnic lunch and ices a bottle, of Champagne, our boat will ferry you over to Naviavia Island to be alone together. But if you think getting there is half the fun, grab your snorkeling gear and kayak out to the island on your own. Honeymoons were never so much fun!

Couple's Massage
Any and all of our unique massage treatments can be performed in our spa bure or on the deck of your own bure, side by side with your partner. Our massage therapists, trained by our award-winning sister property, Post Ranch Inn, in Big Sur, California, will sooth your cares as you gaze into each other's eyes.
